WHO MAY QUALIFY?

Fresh Start may be an option for individuals and families who have stable, verifiable income but face challenges that can make traditional rental approval difficult.

These challenges may include poor credit, past rental issues, an eviction history, or other housing barriers.

As a general Fresh Start guideline, prospective renters should have verifiable household income of approximately 3 times the monthly rent. Participating property owners may establish additional or different lawful rental criteria and make all final rental decisions.
